Small-scale Building

Physical work with objects, models, small furniture pieces, installations, and experimental constructions. Wood is the main material, while metal can be included through collaborators when the project requires it.

Temporary image

The gallery will later include models, objects, work details, material tests, and finished projects.

Directions

Objects built with attention to material, proportion, and use.

Models and maquettes

Physical models for study, presentation, architecture, objects, or form explorations.

Objects and small pieces

Small-scale built pieces, useful objects, supports, decorative elements, or custom interventions.

Small furniture

Simple furniture pieces or components built according to space, material, and desired finish level.

Installations

Structures, assemblies, or objects built for specific contexts, exhibitions, presentations, or experiments.

Materials

The material shapes the rhythm, cost, and way an object ages.

Wood

The main material: warm, tactile, adaptable, suitable for objects, models, small pieces, and experimental constructions.

Boards and composites

MDF, plywood, or other wood-based materials can work well for prototypes, structures, and dimensionally controlled pieces.

Metal through collaborators

Metal elements can be discussed and produced through collaborators, depending on availability and complexity.

Finishes

Sanding, protection, painting, assembly, and other finishing details are decided according to the object.

Pricing

Each project is quoted separately.

Simple object

project quote

  • Requires estimate after brief and documentation

What influences the price

Materials

Type, quantity, quality, and availability of materials directly influence the cost.

Work time

Cutting, assembly, testing, adjustment, and finishing can vary greatly from one project to another.

Finish level

A raw finish, a carefully sanded finish, or a painted/protected finish require different amounts of time and cost.

Prices are indicative and set per project. The final estimate depends on dimensions, materials, complexity, finish, deadline, and any collaborators involved.

Process

From intention to physical object.

1. Discussion

We define the purpose, dimensions, preferred materials, approximate budget, and deadline.

2. Sketch or plan

I clarify the form, construction, assembly, and necessary steps before building.

3. Building

I make the object, test the fits, and adjust details along the way.

4. Finishing

I apply the agreed finish level: raw, sanded, protected, painted, or finally assembled.
